The Purple People Eaters in reading today read the book "the Disappearing Sharks". Zach, Holly, Nicholas and Will learnt about Non-Fiction books>

We learnt that there are real photos, they are true stories, there are captions attached to photos, there is an index, contents page and we found out why sharks are disappearing.

Will discovered that the Megalodon Shark is the size of two buses. A diagram showed us this fact.
Nicholas found out that there aren't as many sharks in the world. 100 million sharks were killed in the world last year.
Holly learnt that people cut their jaws out for trophies.
Zach discovered that sharks can go as fast as 60 kilometres an hour.
