Holiday Highlight Writing

This is our first piece of writing for the year. The guide was to use the yellow thinking hat to recall their favourite holiday activity.

This is the edited version of the first draft.

It's purpose was to refresh their thinking of the writing process; thinking, planning, writing and checking.

Here are Team20's thoughts about the hiolidays.

The best thing in the holidays was seeing my cousins. Their names were Cam and ZeeZee. It was fun playing with them. My Aunty came over from England. She came with us to Torbay.

When I went to Treasure Island I got the treasure. Inside there was a ring and some skittles, pirate hats, lollipops and marshmallows and freddo frogs. I didn’t get sick because pirates share.
