Today we talked about what a sentence is. Here are some of our initial ideas:
- It's like a group of words like 'once upon a time...' Finn.
- Something that happens that you don't know what it is in a sentence - Georgia.
- It's like your writing, like some words that have a capital letter at the start and a full stop at the end. Clara.
Here are some examples of sentences:
- At the end of the day everyone could have lollipops. William and added to by Georgia.
- The red bit by itself is not a sentence. Why is this?
