Rupunzel by Isabella
Once upon a time there was a couple who lived together for 10 years. The mother was pregnant she thought she was going to have a baby girl. One night the mother wanted strawberries but she got lettuce and tomato and mayonaise. Next door there was a garden full of strawberries. So the father went next door to pick some strawberries out of his next door neighbours house. His scary neighbour came out.
"Who has been picking my delicious tasty strawberries".
She was ugly and he did not like to look at her. She was a witch.
He said " my wife is having a baby girl in a few weeks time.
"How interesting. If I can have your baby you can have the strawberries."
"Okay".
So they made a deal. He did not know what to tell his wife.

They said " please can we have some concrete?".
" Sure" said the beaver.
So.... the wolves made a house of concrete. But... the biggest pig you've ever seen came out of the bushes

reading with Will
Today Will was reading "Learning to Swim". The story told us how children can learn to float on their back, blow bubbles, how to paddle, how to kick and breath. Will thinks he is a good swimmer and he learnt to swim in an indoor pool down the road with 3 other boys. He had lots of lessions but isn't having any more at the moment. Will enjoyed the story.

Learning Reports Home today
Friday 22nd May
Dear Parent and Caregivers,
We are pleased to be sending home our new Learning Reports for you to look at and discuss with your children over the next few days. You will notice that the contents page states that there will be a Year 1 Letter/Sound sheet and a FOS Diagnostic Spelling sheet. Please note that these sheets will only be in your child's learning report if applicable.
There are sections of these reports that require you or the children to make comments. You may get your child to write or scribe for them. Ask them to think about what they learned, enjoyed or found particularly memorable about the learning. We encourage you to comment about your child's learning, what you are proud of and any ideas for next steps. Please remember to bring your child's learning report to your meeting.
We look forward to meeting with you, and your child, next week to discuss these in greater detail.
Kind Regards

Th Lion and The Mouse
One day lion was sleeping, then little mouse stepped on lion's nose. Then , lion said "I want to eat you."
"Oh don't eat me."
" Now I don't want to eat you because you are too small."
" Oh thank you lion."
" One day I will repay your kindness." So the mouse went off.
Then lion got stuck in a hunter's net. "Oh, help me someone." The mouse came along. "I will help you." So the little mouse snapped a hole in the trapping net. Then lion got free.
Mouse may be small. But mouse is clever. And she's my friend for ever and ever.
The End.
